The Police in this video ripped one of Mr. Hobbs locks out of his head, a full bread, from his scalp. Slammed him into the cement wall, then beat him relentlessly. Why? He was on suicide watch.. and this is the empathy and compassion Mr. Hobbs received. After beating MR. Hobbs, the officers slammed him into his cell for 14 days without providing any medical attention.
What happens to the Police Officers? Qualified Immunity is what happens. The Police can beat you senseless, without mercy and not worry about any repercussions as a result of Qualified Immunity.
If this video had not been released, the 5 Police Officers would have continued with their job like nothing happened. However, because of the release of the video, 3 of the 5 Police were arrested. While the other two officers, although witnesses and participants to the same crime, were not charged.
